Unit-dose packaging is taking on a new emphasis in an era where drug packages are going to be traced from place of manufacture to place of dispensing. With the passage of the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) in 2013, having a unique serial code on each package is a must. Serialized unit doses of all drug will be a requirement and UDS can assist with serialization whether it be a liquid dose cup or a complete drug kit.
